NJ legal weed is still money saving. Meet the right security and insurance experts at the March 16 event

Security, burglary loss prevention and more will be key for the soon to open New Jersey cannabis consumer market. On March 16, at NJ Cannabis Insider Live!Garden State’s premier cannabis business conference.

“Before you can open a business, buy equipment, or hire staff, you will first need to have your state grant you a cannabis license,” said Tony Gallomanaging partner of Sapphire Risk Advisory Group, which was recently named one of the 100 most influential people in the country when it comes to cannabis by Highlights. Sapphire Risk is a national security consulting firm specializing in industries considered high risk, which handle large amounts of cash or valuable goods.

“The primary goal of a cannabis safety plan is to provide a safe and secure environment for your employees and visitors,” Gallo said. “This seminar will show you proven best practices on how to get a cannabis license, save you money and go a long way in reducing your frustration when designing your safety program.”

Gallo will host the “Security + Assurance – Applications to Operations” panel at NJ Cannabis Insider Live! Conference of March 16, presented by Hance Building. They will join:

  • Nichelle Santos, founder and CEO of CannaCoverage Insurance Services. She is an entrepreneur, responsible for business development in the insurance industry, practicing risk mitigation.
  • Jay Keith, of 5S Security, a recently retired detective sergeant from the New Jersey State Police. Keith now brings this experience to the cannabis industry, specializing in security and private investigation services.
  • Dan Jensen, an account executive at Securitas Electronic Security Inc., specializing in cannabis facility security. Jensen is also the founder of Code 3 Outreach, educating first responders and veterans about the medicinal benefits of cannabis.
