STATEN ISLAND, NY – If you’re looking to experience rap royalty, there’s still time to buy tickets for the Staten Island Peace & Unity Festival on Saturday at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden.
Method Man, Redman, Wu-Tang members, Ja Rule and Ashanti will be among the performers.
The mega event was held to encourage non-violence, solidarity and strength across Staten Island and the rest of New York City – especially after the world was on hiatus for around 16 months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The festival, presented by The Waterteam, Uncle Chase Entertainment, Wakeem Entertainment and 3J’s Creation Entertainment, will feature members of the Wu-Tang Clan Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck and Cappadonna, as well as Redman, Ashanti, Ja Rule and Funkmaster. Hot Flex 97.
The festival was originally scheduled to last two days, but Sunday’s show was canceled, organizers told Advance / SILive.com.

General admission to the Saturday show is $ 75. VIP Limited, which keeps you close to the stage, costs $ 100.
The organizers encourage guests to take public transportation to the festival, as there will be no designated parking for the event.
Note that a cash-only shuttle will be available between the Empire Outlets parking lot located next to the St. George ferry terminal and Snug Harbor. It will take place every 30 minutes from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the cost is $ 20 per person. Empire Outlets parking will also be available for parking for a separate $ 10 cash charge.
